fonts-firacode software package provides Monospaced font with programming ligatures, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-firacode
fonts-firacode is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-firacode package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-firacode *
You will get with fonts-firacode package name, version, architecture and description in a table
